COMMUNITY GUIDELINES
Short, friendly and firm: what applies to everyone in the CORTEX community (wall, comments, messages, alliances and events).
The rules
- 1. Respect. Treat others the way you want to be treated. Criticise ideas, not people.
- 2. No harassment or hate. No insults, threats, bullying or attacks over origin, religion, gender, orientation, health or looks. No means no – in messages too.
- 3. No spam or ads. No mass messages, MLM, “signals”, affiliate links or get-rich-quick promises. Sharing your own project is fine when it is part of your progress.
- 4. No NSFW or violent content. No pornography, sexual content, gore or glorifying violence or self-harm.
- 5. Other people's privacy. Don't publish anyone's personal data, addresses, photos or screenshots of private messages without consent. No doxxing.
- 6. Health and money: no advice dressed as fact. Share experience, not guaranteed advice. Don't present claims about health, medicine or investing as facts and don't push anyone into risky steps.
- 7. No impersonation. Do not pose as another person, brand or the CORTEX team. Official events carry the CORTEX badge.
- 8. Honest about progress. We measure, we don't fake. No fake habits, inflated focus sessions or tricks in duels and leaderboards.
- 9. People and IRL events are 18+. Meeting new people (the People section) and in-person events are for adults only. Younger members talk only to friends and their alliance and receive messages from friends only.
How reporting works
You can report any post, comment, message, profile or alliance with the Report button in the app. Reports are anonymous, a human reviews them and every decision is logged. Blocking hides everything both ways immediately.
What happens after a violation
- Warning
- Content removal
- Temporary community ban
- Permanent community ban or account suspension
Severe violations (threats, doxxing, content involving minors) go straight to the strictest step. Every action tells you which rule was broken, with a link to it.
Appeals
Think we got it wrong? Write to info@getcortex.cz within 30 days and we will look again.
These guidelines complement the Terms and Conditions (section 5) and the Privacy Policy.
